Situated in Holgate and only a stone’s throw away from Gosford on the Central Coast is a gorgeous little boutique winery. Well known for its fruity wines, the venue is just as popular for its spectacular landscape, very suited for weddings. It boasts a variety of orchards which provides plenty of colour during spring and the deciduous trees give the vineyard a burst of stunning oranges, yellows and reds during Autumn.
There’s a driveway down the right-hand side which positions the bride perfectly to walk down a trail and over the little white wooden bridge, past the white hut and down towards their partner, under a huge tree.
Guests are first presented with a mystical feel as they walk towards the gardens, through an arbour of flowers and greenery and past the vineyards on the left.
I can say the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, from my point of view as the photographer as well as how they were towards the weddings guests and bridal party. I took some lawn games for the bride and groom so the guests could play them while we went and got some photo’s and I left them there accidentally. Months later I remembered and they still had them there and had looked after them for me.
This would have to be one of the best places to get married in New South Wales let alone just the Central Coast and I would say this with even more conviction if you were getting married during Autumn. Be sure to check the place out if you are.
